Hello,

With Thanksgiving approaching tomorrow, we would like to first take a moment to wish you and your family a happy and healthy holiday. We hope this time will give you a chance to reflect on the year and all the things you are thankful for.

At the Fisher Center, we are truly thankful to all of our supporters and our research team. Our researchers are working hard to find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease and many will work through the holiday trying to accomplish this goal. We cannot thank them enough for their dedication and commitment!

We are also thankful for new treatments and research discoveries surrounding Alzheimer’s disease. Please take a moment to read our first article where we discuss how a new drug is showing promise for Alzheimer’s. In our second article we discuss how research has shown that older men and women who had the highest levels of cardiovascular health were at less risk of developing dementia than those who were less heart healthy.

We truly have a lot to be thankful for! I hope you will find these articles helpful. As always, if you would like to learn more about the above-mentioned studies, please read the below articles and for more information about Alzheimer’s; please visit our website at www.alzinfo.org.

Enjoy a Happy Thanksgiving & Turkey!

Be safe and all of my best,

Kent Karosen
President & CEO
