It further indicates that The Fisher Center exceeds industry standards, and outperforms most other Alzheimer’s charities.
As you read the latest edition of our expert-reviewed e-newsletter, remember that the number of people with Alzheimer’s is presently 5.3 million and expected to double worldwide in the next 15 years. Meanwhile, the National Institutes of Health spends only a minimal $480 million annually on Alzheimer’s research, thus making the need for additional private funding absolutely critical in the quest for improved treatments and a cure.
