For the fourth year in a row, The Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation has received the exclusive, and highest 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. This distinguished, independent review of our financials, shows donors how efficiently Charity Navigator believes we have managed fiscal responsibility, sustained our programs and services over time, and our adherence to the best standards of governance and organizational transparency. It further indicates that The Fisher Center exceeds industry standards, and outperforms most other Alzheimer’s charities.

As you read the latest edition of our expert-reviewed e-newsletter, remember that the number of people with Alzheimer’s is presently 5.3 million and expected to double worldwide in the next 15 years. Meanwhile, the National Institutes of Health spends only a minimal $480 million annually on Alzheimer’s research, thus making the need for additional private funding absolutely critical in the quest for improved treatments and a cure.

Won’t you help us spread the word? If you find the news articles below, or at ALZinfo.org, informative and useful, we would be so grateful if you shared what you like with a friend or family member.

Thank you for your interest in learning more about the research progress being made in the treatment and care for people with this devastating disease.

Sincerely,

Kent L. Karosen
President & CEO
