Hello,

As you may know, I work with and support the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation and its efforts to end Alzheimer’s disease.  But, did you know it is the only cause of death among the top 10 in America without a way to prevent it, cure it or even slow its progression?

Much of this is due to limited funding.  The fact is by 2025, the number of people age 65 and older with Alzheimer's disease is estimated to reach 7.1 million—a 40 percent increase from the 5 million age 65 and older currently affected. By 2050, the number of people age 65 and older with Alzheimer's disease may nearly triple, from 5 million to a projected 13.8 million, barring the development of medical breakthroughs to prevent, slow or stop the disease.  Now is the time to take the Alzheimer’s Challenge.

We need your help in raising money and building awareness about the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Disease world renowned research. 100% of every dollar donated to this mission will go toward Nobel Prize winning Alzheimer’s research.

How can YOU help? You can help spread the word. We are launching a powerful social media movement that will drive awareness of our mission. All we ask is that you take a few minutes out of your days to:

  1. Tweet on Twitter about our mission. www.twitter.com/fishercenter [1]
  2. Friend/Like us on Facebook. www.facebook.com/ALZResearch [2]
  3. Join our 410,717 members on Causes.com. www.causes.com/alzheimers [3]
  4. Forward this email to your friends and family.  Ask them to do the same.
  5. Donate if you can* at: https://www.alzinfo.org/team/member/fishercenter [4]

Your small efforts can make a great difference in many lives.  Please take a few minutes every other day and Tweet or Facebook message using the examples provided below or create your own.  Quite literarily, your tweets, posts, emails and donations will help save the lives of those most precious to all of us.

Please find below, Facebook and Twitter messaging suggestions. Let us know what you can do to support us by responding to this email.  Supporting Alzheimer’s research is the only way we can find a cure.

*The fund uses 100% of the monies donated toward accomplishing the stated mission.  All proceeds will be used directly to fund Alzheimer’s research.  No expenses or administrative fees are subtracted.
