Fundraising Managing Director

Sapna Wadhwani brings over 19 years of experience driving brand growth, building partnerships, and expanding organizational reach to exceed revenue goals. With expertise spanning philanthropy, business development, marketing, and media, she has a proven track record of success.

Mrs. Wadhwani joined the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation after serving as Development Director at NYU’s HealthRight, where she built and executed fundraising strategies to support global healthcare programs for underserved communities. Prior to that, she was Associate Vice President at CarePoint Health Systems, where she dedicated her efforts towards raising funds to ensure compassionate care for the underserved communities in Hudson County. There, she spearheaded the launch of their philanthropic arm, the Just Health Foundation, where she defined the foundation’s mission, vision, and values, developed a strategic fundraising plan, and assembled a dynamic board. Mrs. Wadhwani has also served as Chief Philanthropy Officer at the Indo-American Arts Council, where she led fundraising initiatives for programs and events promoting Asian arts and culture.

Before transitioning to the philanthropic sector, Mrs. Wadhwani held the position of Director of Business Development and Marketing at Gutenberg, a global communications firm. In this role, she worked with a diverse range of industries, developing communication plans to advance their credibility, growth, and revenue. Sapna’s portfolio spanned a wide array of sectors, including healthcare, local and global NGOs, higher education, technology, government, and beyond. Here, she also led customer acquisition, specializing in client management, where she influenced and facilitated long-term partnerships ensuring revenue goals were met.

Earlier in her career, Mrs. Wadhwani served as an Emmy-Award-winning journalist and segment producer with the Fox News Channel. Within a few years, she cultivated relationships with the world’s most prominent thinkers including U.S. presidents, world leaders, policy makers, celebrities, C-suite executives, authors, and more, to appear for nationally televised interviews. She executed interviews through each critical stage, from outreach to conducting pre-interviews, to final telecast; producing compelling interviews with over 1200 television news guests.

Sapna holds a BA from Rutgers University’s School of Communications, where she earned a dual degree in Broadcast Journalism and Organizational Communication, along with a minor in Women’s Studies.
