Rebecca Libed

Operations Manager

Rebecca Libed has over 20 years of progressive nonprofit management experience in international LGBT advocacy, social justice, faith-based, community development, and health research settings. She brings to the Fisher Center a diverse set of skills including problem solving and data analyst experience, and the ability to create operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Throughout her career, Ms. Libed served to advance community development at the Cypress Hills Local Community Development Corporation in Cypress Hills in Brooklyn; developed her fundraising skills working at the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission; and added human resources and operations expertise to her skillset at Middle Collegiate Church in New York City.

Ms. Libed graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies from Hamilton College and earned a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management at New School University’s Milano Graduate School, and is SHRM-CP certified. She volunteers her free time with other organizations and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Beacon Schools in the Hudson Valley.
