Rebecca Libed brings more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience across international advocacy, social justice, community development, philanthropy, faith‑based organizations, and health research. She provides the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation with deep expertise in operations, human resources, fundraising, data analysis, finance, and organizational strategy along with a proven ability to strengthen organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and long‑term sustainability.
Throughout her career, Ms. Libed has helped mission‑driven organizations maximize their impact through operational excellence, strategic fundraising, community engagement, and organizational development. She brings this same commitment to the Fisher Center Foundation, aligning people, processes, data, and organizational structure to support strategic goals and enhance overall performance. Her work has helped nonprofits build strong infrastructure, improve data‑informed decision‑making, streamline operations, and develop sustainable resources that enable lasting community impact.
Ms. Libed earned a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies from Hamilton College and a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from the Milano Graduate School at New School University. Dedicated to community service, she volunteers with organizations throughout the Hudson Valley and has supported international literacy efforts, including helping establish a children’s library in the Philippines, where access to free educational resources is limited.
