I have many fond memories of my times together with Gunter who was so supportive of our efforts at KMA Sales Company. He was a true gentleman in so many ways. Always delightful to be with, he was a true wine and food connoisseur. My relationship with Gunter started early in my sales career and I quickly learned what an asset he was in helping to close a sale and I always made an attempt to get him in front of the customer. He truly was "Mr. Relay", quite the diplomat and always out to keep the customer happy. I always hoped to see him again in retirement but sadly that was not meant to be.

I started with Zettler as Gunter started to retire and I didn't know him well. What I did know was that he was loved and respected greatly in our world of Electronics. It was inspiring to see how well known, respected and loved he was by our customers and Mfg Reps. It was inspirational to talk to people who knew Gunter, they always spoke of fond memories that usually revolved around a great meal and a bottle of wine. The stories may have been 10+ years’ old- but they were spoken as if it was yesterday. Gunter was what made Zettler a great and respected company. He will be greatly missed by the Zettler employees, our customers & Mfg Reps -past and present

I was deeply saddened to hear that Mr. Gunter Rueb has passed away last Saturday. I used to work for Mr. Rueb at the Zettler company in China. Therefore I knew him for 15 years. He was such a nice and respectful guy. His in-depth knowledge in relay and its applications, his gentleman way of behavior, his hearted smiles...all this has won him respect and love from both his friends and business rivals. There is little I can do, but I cannot help missing him in the harbour city Xiamen across the Pacific Ocean, where I used to meet with him so many times. I feel I have to express my condolences for his death. I am just one of the people here who have loved this gentleman so much, from both Zettler and Hongfa companies. We were all saddened on hearing the news. May God bless him in heaven! [pray for him]

Dear Rueb family,

With greatest sadness, we have learned about the passing of Gunter.

We hereby send our condolences.

We are thankful the many good moments we had with Gunter, such as having him and Lotte at our wedding.

My favorite conversations I had with him was about his first days at ZETTLER back in the day in Munich.
