Gunter Rueb, 83 of Newport Coast California passed away peacefully on February 18, 2017.
He was born March 10, 1933 in Munich Germany. He is survived by his wife Lotte Rueb, daughter Angie Stinar, and his grandchildren Jessica Nathanson, Tiffany Nathanson, Shane Stinar, and Kylie Stinar.
He graduated with an Engineering degree in Munich and then went on to work in Germany for several years. He came to America over 50 years ago with Zettler Munich, on a project through NASA, and later acquired American Zettler. He had an unwavering work ethic and truly loved what he did. He always maintained a very diplomatic approach no matter what the situation. He treated his employees and colleagues and everyone he came into contact with, with kindness, respect and fairness. He was an incredibly loving family man who was immensely educated, cultured and thoroughly enjoyed travel.
He will be greatly missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

I will always remember him with highest gratitude.

Great faith in God
Unselfish in all ways
Nonpareil, yes, I believe nonpareil
Tyrant, no never
Elated when presented new ideas
Requirement was to follow then lead
Kaleidoscope of disciplines
Rather than complain, sitting quietly was the order
Under no condition was an untruth considered
Emanating from the soul was the love for knowledge
Before speaking, all thinking was completed
