Our Fundraising Goal

Alzheimer’s Challenge

The Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation is thrilled to announce the launch of our Annual Summer Alzheimer’s Challenge!

This year, our theme is “All In” and it’s all about supporters like you committing to go “all in” with our fight against Alzheimer’s disease by asking your family, friends, and colleagues to support our efforts in finding a cure for this dreadful disease.

We are excited to make this dynamic site available to raise funds to enhance the research efforts at the Fisher Center. So now any time you might want to run a 10K, do a Triathlon, Ride for Research or any other activity, you can create your own fundraising page and invite your friends and family to contribute in support of your goal.

This summer, we need your help with raising $50,000, and we’ve made our dynamic fundraising platform live to help you support our critical Alzheimer’s research. You can create your own fundraising page and invite your family and friends to contribute. It’s because of funding from supporters like you, the Fisher Center team continues to work hard to find a cure. In fact, this year our researchers determined that a protein named C99 not beta-amyloid is associated with selective death of vulnerable neurons in the brain. This new discovery will help us better understand how Alzheimer’s disease attacks the neurons in our brains and presents new pathways to target Alzheimer’s research.

You can be confident that your efforts are on behalf of the only Alzheimer’s nonprofit to have earned a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator consistently for more than a decade; including the last eight years in a row.

No time to create a fundraising page but still want to be “ALL IN” and make an impact? Take these alternative steps to support our groundbreaking research efforts to accelerate the pace of future Alzheimer’s disease research and change the course of Alzheimer’s investigations worldwide.

The Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation

The Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation primarily funds the research of the late Nobel Laureate Dr. Paul Greengard. Dr. Greengard and his team of scientists have recently developed new technologies that will accelerate the pace of future Alzheimer’s research. Based on these new findings, we have increased our funding commitment to support the promising new research initiatives that are now possible. Click here for our latest research
