Dr. Xu’s research is focuses on deciphering the molecular and biochemical mechanisms by which a protein called GSAP interferes with the formation of the toxic Abeta component. In collaboration with Dr. Chang, they are investigating how GSAP affects the biological properties of different cell compartments.
