Dr. Barnea, in collaboration with Dr. Roussarie, is responsible for the design of several protocols to modify genetically cultured human cells to mimic vulnerable cells in AD. These cultured cell lines are essential to study and validate the role of novel candidate genes in AD, identified by herself and other in the Fisher Center.
