Gunter and I were business associates and good friends for over 30 years. He was a very effective business leader and a dear friend to Kathy and I. I will dearly miss him as I pleasantly remember many of our past business efforts and social get-togethers with he and his lovely Lottie.

It was my great honor to get to know Mr. Rueb when he and Mr. Moegling visited Hong Kong backed in 1992.  Time flies!  It has been 25 years now.  Mr Rueb, a knowledgeable genius, had also been known as a kind, respectful and caring leader.   It was my great honor to serve him and work for Zettler.  Now,  it is really hard to say goodbye and he is always on my mind.

Gunter Rueb was truly a citizen of the world. We had the distinct privilege of working with him, here in New England, for nearly two decades. His visits were much anticipated, and always resulted in expanding both business opportunities, and personal relationships. While traveling in the car, or chatting over dinner, Gunter would share his life story and vast travel experiences. Natural as a story teller, he had engrossing stories to tell. He was the rare individual with both a technical and artistic mind. He will be dearly missed. Bon Voyage, Gunter

I met Gunter in 1988 and was a customer of his until I came to work for American Zettler in 1999. I was privileged to experience his charm, wit, integrity and professionalism for almost 30 years. He was a positive role model for me and he had a lasting impact on my life, I miss him. Mike Morgan

Gunter Rueb was always a pleasure to work with. He was helpful, pleasant, and was willing to go out of his way for others. He was capable, smart, and fun to be with. I worked with Gunter for many decades, and each time he came to visit us it was a pleasant experience. All of us at KMA Sales Company looked forward to his visits, and we all benefited from Gunter's help.
The world has lost a great man and I have lost a great friend. I extend my sympathy to Lotte and their entire family. The best of everything to all of you in the future.

Gunter was the definition of a gentleman. I had the good fortune to have worked with Gunter for close to 15 years. I would always look forward to his visits to New England. He would always share a story about his travels and family over a good glass of wine. You were all loved deeply.
Sincerely
John La Pan

I am deeply saddened to hear of Gunter's passing. I feel honored to have known Gunter and spend time with him and Lottie . Gunter was one of a kind. He was a loving , kind and generous man . He had a gift of making everyone in his presence feel special .My fondest memories of him were dinners with Gunter and Lottie. Over dinner and a bottle of wine , he would share his stories of his move from Germany to America to start up American Zettler . I loved hearing about Lottie and Gunter's trips to exotic places .He was a family man and loved his family above all else.
My thoughts and prayers are with Lovely Lottie , Angie and his grandchildren . I will miss you Gunter but I will never forget you . Till we meet again

what a lovely man gunther was. He gave Rainer the chance of a lifetime, and for that I am grateful.
I can only say from my past losses..."To live in the hearts of those left behind, is not to die"
