Josephine Rubin

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Data Specialist and Trainer (Seasonal PT)

Josephine Rubin is passionate about fundraising and development. At the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, she has worked in various capacities including database management, donor solicitation, donor research, and marketing. She currently handles all individual and matching gifts that arrive via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

Ms. Rubin earned a Bachelor of Arts from NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study in 2019. She created her own concentration, titled “The Accessibility of Art Throughout History,” and continues to cultivate her interest in museums, curatorial theory, and art history.

At NYU, Ms. Rubin also served on the Executive Board of New York Dance Marathon, a student-run campaign to raise money and awareness for families affected by pediatric cancer. As Executive Director in 2018, she spearheaded efforts to raise $607,689 (a school record). Dance Marathon helped push Ms. Rubin towards a career in the nonprofit sector, and she supports it to this day.
