E-Newsletter Help


The ALZinfo e-newsletters are extremely informative and provide breaking news, research advancements and other information important to aging. Below are some helpful tips that will allow you to receive the ALZinfo e-newsletter.

ALZinfo will typically send 1-2 e-newsletters per week.

Successful Sign Up:
There are 2 ways to sign up in order to receive the ALZinfo e-newsletter: 1) At the top of every page: Simply enter a valid email address in the field in the top middle and click "sign up" 2) Go to the "Community" page, the link can be found near the top of the page. Click on "sign up" under the e-newsletter heading and follow the on screen instructions.

You know you have successfully signed up with ALZinfo if you receive a welcome email from us. You should receive this email a few minutes after signing up.

Receiving Emails:
If at any time you receive but cannot view the entire ALZinfo e-newsletter, simply click on the URL at the top of your email. This link will take you to an online version of the e-newsletter.

ALZinfo email arrive as either Text or HTML (which includes graphics/colors). Most email programs can receive text emails without problem. Here are some helpful tips to receive an HTML email.

AOL
  • To receive an HTML email from ALZinfo, you must be using AOL 6.0 or higher.
  • Please enter news@alzinfo.org into your AOL address book
  • If you receive a message and it does not look correct: please click "show images & enable links" at the top of your screen
  • If you have not received the ALZinfo e-newsletter for some time please open up your "spam folder". Once you find the e-newsletter, you can denote it as not spam for future deliveries.


Hotmail
  • Please enter news@alzinfo.org into your Hotmail address book
  • If you have not received the ALZinfo e-newsletter for some time please open up your "spam folder". Once you find the e-newsletter, you can denote it as not spam for future deliveries. After doing so move the e-newsletter to another folder or your inbox.
  • If you are not seeing images please click on "Always show from this sender" above the "from" line.


Yahoo
  • Please enter news@alzinfo.org into your Yahoo address book
  • If you have not received the ALZinfo e-newsletter for some time please open up your "spam folder". Once you find the e-newsletter, you can denote it as not spam for future deliveries. After doing so move the e-newsletter to another folder or your inbox.
  • If you are not properly receiving ALZinfo e-newsletters, please go to "mail options" and click "spam protection". Here you can set how you handle messages and graphics.
  • If all else fails, you can turn off "SpamGuard". Go to "mail options" and click "spam protection".
