Is there really a cure for alzheimers disease? I'm a DR and currently do tons of research on this matter since my wife suffers from ALzheimers disease and she really needs some help.

I write a blog an currently have posts relating to cure for alzheimers disease http://www.alzheimers-disease.net/2009/12/28/a-cure-for-alzheimers-disease/ Find it out by going to the blog I write about for my practice so you can get some valuable case study information.

Since you are a doctor, please take a look at all the documentation regarding Enbrel for Alzheimer's (Perispinal Etanercept). You can prescribe it off label for your wife, and give her the injections. It stops the progression and actually reverses some of the symptoms. My Mom was on the treatment and it was a miracle, although we started it too late to give her much of a life back. But at least she was able to enjoy some things again for a while. She had other complications which required her to have 3 surgeries in one year. She lost a little more of herself with each surgery. We had to stop the Enbrel injections each time, and I would watch her slip away. After the first surgery, the Enbrel was able to help her come back, but the second and third surgeries took too much out of her and she slipped into the dreaded Stage 7. We stopped the treatment, and she passed away within a few months.

There is much controversy, but I want you to know that the treatment is real. The patients are real, and Dr. Tobinick is a great doctor who has found something astonishing. No one would back him, so he just continues to write publications and treat patients.

Please see these links for more info:

Dr. Tobinick's website. On this website, you will see testimonial videos (My Mom and I are on Video 8 ), and links to publications, etc. I have met almost every one of the patients in the videos, they are real people like my Mom and I, not actors.

Alz.org message board regarding this treatment. It's really long but worth the read if you have a week or so to get through it all! I guess it's best to start at the end:

Link for a clinical trial that is starting; but sadly, they're not using Dr. Tobinick's method of administration:
