I'm 64...diagnosed three years ago with alzheimers.....then possibly the language presentation of Frontotemporal dementia. I'm on aricept and namenda (ebixa in Canada), my miracle drugs!

Hi Mary, the postie has just been and brought me a Picks Disease newsletter which my friend passes on to me - at their website 'www.pdsg.org.uk' you may be able to see their newsletter for December 2009 which has an article on FTD mentioning semantic dementia. Hugs freda

Hi Mary, how are you? It has been a long time since we've chatted. Things are about the same here with my husband, maybe a little worse, but still manageable. Today is our son's graduation party. Should be fun, but I'll be glad when it's over. Maybe I'll catch you in chat sometime. I am usually on at night, though. I'll try to get on in the morning sometime on my days off from work. Hugs.
